Note: Up to (2) Unit Driving Force awards per unit will be awarded.


Temecula Santa's Electric Light Parade​ - December 6


Great opportunity to usher in the holiday season! Light up your bikes, scooters, skateboards (or even yourselves) as you showcase your units and create holiday magic! (sure, walk or march too!)

Your unit must register in order to participate (see below)

See below for parking directions, waiver and other details. Parade starts 7pm (stage at 5:15pm)

  • Arrive 5:15 p.m. to stage at Calle Cortez. Entry #47
  • ​Units can walk, march, bike, skateboard, ride a scooter (all riders must wear a helmet)
  • All participants must use lights
  • Theme: Love Temecula: Celebrating 30 Years of Temecula
  • Units cannot represent Santa and/or Mrs. Claus
  • Items cannot be thrown into the crowd
  • Waivers required of ALL participants. Turn into District Parade Coordinator at Parade.

Special for 2019: No vehicles or trailers may be used.

 Murrieta Veterans Day Parade - November 11

All units are encouraged to join the District at the historic Downtown Murrieta Town Square Park on Monday, November 11th. This is a great opportunity to show your Duty to Country and proudly wear your Class A uniform!

Units do not need to register with the City in order to participate. Units meet at Town Square Park by 8:45am. Parade begins at 10am and travels down Washington to B St, returning to Town Square Park. To register, unit leaders contact Georgi Dyer at 3crazyes@gmail.com​.​ 
A waiver is required and can be handed in the day of the parade. You can find a waiver here.

Range Master Training - Saturday December 1

​WHEN: Saturday, December 1st (8AM - 4PM)
WHERE: LDS Building - 23800 Washington Ave., Murrieta, 92562
WHO: Any BSA registered leader who would like to run BSA Cub Scout Archery/BB ranges.
COST: $5 Covers both Archery and BB Gun training.
WHAT TO BRING: Pen/pencil, note paper, water bottle, and a sack lunch.
SPECIFICS: BSA Range Masters must be 18 or older. 20 students max. per class.
  • BSA Archery Range Masters are shown how to set up and safely operate an Archery Range, for both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts Archery programs, according to BSA Shooting Sports Standards.
  • BSA BB Gun Range Masters are shown how to set up and safely operate a BSA BB Gun Range, for Cub Scout programs, according to BSA Shooting Sports Standards.
  • BSA BB Gun and Archery Range Master Training Card must be renewed every two years, and must be current to open BB Gun or Archery Ranges, at CIEC events.
