Tahquitz Earns GoldIn 2016, Tahquitz earned Gold on BSA's Journey to Excellence. JTE represents a process of continual improvement. Just like our Units, the District earns an award by achieving certain standards and performance goals. For 2017, we aim to help units provide the best possible Scouting experience.

Other Awards and Honors
In it's relatively short existence, the Mighty Tahquitz has been home to a few dozen Silver Beaver Award winners (over 47!) and had several Wood Badge Course Directors (most recently in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020).
